Even after his early years, Hossein embodied a spirit of questing for knowledge and truth. This guiding spirit gave him a helping hand to do very well in his school years. Later, the same spirit
linked him to the field of law. He pursued theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline at the university level. His academic aspiration was to seek practical solutions to problems through rigorous research. Along the way, his interest in art and technology joined forces to place intellectual property law at the center of his research interests. He kept on this journey by getting a Master of law degree in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Shahid Beheshti. The studies in his academic life flowered to several seminal contributions to the law literature, including but not limited to Intellectual Property Protection of Test Data.
After completing his education, he was called to work with the
Vice president of legal affairs office as a researcher. The new research project led him to draft a bill entitled combating Iranian product disparagement. After a while, he became a research partner of the Research Institute of Judiciary to work on Fighting against Copyright (Droit d’Auteur and Related Rights) Infringement in Cyberspace and draw up another bill to be ratified at the parliament.
In 2020, Hossein joined the Phanous Research and Innovation Centre to work as a DatAI Lab researcher.
The research project with Phanous produced fruits in his breakthrough and influential work: Protection of Data in Iranian Positive Law, the first book to be published on data law in Iran.
