Shima graduated from Allameh Tabatab`i university with a Ph.D. degree in Private law. As a talented student, she had the opportunity to study two undergraduate degrees simultaneously in Law and French Translation. She received her L.L.B degree and also her B.A. in French Translation, graduating with First Class Honors, both from Allameh Tabatab`i university. She continued her higher education in law and obtained an L.L.M in Communication Law. She again graduated as the first rank student.
Her L.L.M thesis title was published as a book, under the title of “Privacy Protection and Social Networking Sites.” Her Ph.D. thesis title is “The Status of Data and Big Data in The Property Law System of Iran and France.”
In March 2020, Shima joined Phanous as a researcher, where she worked on the law of Artificial intelligence and data protection. In Phanous, she worked on the model of data protection in the European Union and the draft of the European Artificial Intelligence Act. Among her practical experience, she has also worked as a legal researcher and a legal advisor at the ICT Research institute, focusing on determining the legal framework of big data and regulatory aspects of data governance. Her educational and professional background, research skills, and fluency in English and French opened the gates for her to be a new faculty member.
